1.4 SCHEDULE FOR CONSTRUCTION

In accordance with Section 00700 Contract Clause 52.236-15, SCHEDULES FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS, submit a schedule for accomplishing the work in this Contract (per Section 01 32 01.00 25, PROJECT SCHEDULE). The schedule will not be used by the Government to select a Contractor; rather it will be used to ensure that the Contractor is capable of accomplishing the necessary work in the allotted time periods. The schedule must be consistent with the completion dates as specified in Section 00800 Contract Clause 52.211-10 Alt I, COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK - ALTERNATE I. Other Contractor's work must also be coordinated in accordance with Contract Clause 52.236-8, OTHER CONTRACTS.

1.5 PERMITS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Obtain all permits and licenses for the work as required under Section 00700 Contract Clause 52.236-7, PERMITS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Nov 1991).

1.6 IN-WATER WORK

1.6.1 In-Water Work (IWW) Periods

The Government has established interim construction completion date, described as "in-water work periods," coinciding with the annual cycles of fish migration and related allowed maintenance periods. In general, this is a work period that allows for work in the water, on the water, and adjacent to the water where the work might affect fish passage. The IWW period established for this Contract is: July 1 to October 31.

1.6.2 In-Water Work Activities

For purposes of this Contract, work items that must be restricted to the IWW period, along with further work restrictions, are described as work below the Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) +12.8 FT COP.

1.7 WORK RESTRICTIONS

a. The Springwater Corridor's Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is restricted to 5,000 lbs. Paving material and equipment are exempt from this requirement and will be allowed to access the site from the Springwater corridor. Any damage to the Springwater corridor must be repaired at the expense of the contractor to pre-existing conditions. See Sheet C-101, Note 4 for additional information.

b. Springwater corridor may only be closed to pedestrians July 1, 2018 to October 31, 2018.

c. Equipment and material movements to and from the work area must be conducted by rail or marine access.

d. Provide a Tree Removal Work Plan 30 days after NTP. The plan must outline the trees needing to be removed by the Contractor to gain access to the site as well as complete the construction. The tree removal must take place during November 2017 - January 2018 to prevent birds from nesting. Nesting birds could impact the ability to perform work in the construction work limits.

SECTION 01 10 10.00 25 Page 4

e. Non-park Use of Park Property (NPUP) permits must be completed and accepted prior to construction. See attachment A9.

f. An old trestle is anticipated to be encountered in the location of the culvert construction. Requirements for monitoring the removal of the trestle in the impacted area are specified in section 01 57 19.00 25 Temporary Environmental Controls. Contractor must assume 5 tons of contaminated media (wood, piles, fasteners, etc) will be located in the excavation. Dispose of material in accordance with section 01 57 19.00 25 Temporary Environmental Controls.

1.7.1 Roads and Walks

Keep roads and walks free of dirt and debris at all times.

Close the Springwater Trail to all bicycle and pedestrian traffic during replacement of the culvert and as necessary to accommodate construction traffic and other activities. No trail closure will be permitted until the area is signed and secured according to the Traffic Control Plan.

Pedestrian/Bike traffic access to Oregon Yacht Club and Oaks Amusement Park, via Springwater Trail, must be maintained throughout project

a. Trail will be Hard Closed from the Oaks Park pedestrian ramp north to the pedestrian/bike undercrossing.

b. Closure will be 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. Local access will be allowed up to the Hard Closure points. When contractor is using Springwater Trail between south staging area and hard closure, flagging is required.

c. Traffic Control Plan must show any additional sidewalk or bike lane closures.

d. Provide a minimum of 9 project signs. Camera-ready artwork will be provided for the Project signage.

e. Temporary Signing - Furnish new or acceptable temporary signs and accessories meeting the following requirements:
