About this file

This document is a Request for Clarification Q&A related to a Sources Sought notice, providing specific guidance on project examples and past performance requirements. The document answers two key questions: (1) project examples must be completed specifically under the Architectural and Engineering (AE) NAICS Code 541330, with only those projects being reviewed and evaluated, and (2) past performance from subcontractor experiences under large business prime contractors will not be considered, as the government will only evaluate performance where the firm was the prime contractor.

Request for Clarification Q&A

1. Do the project examples HAVE to have been completed under an AE (NAICS Code

541330) contract?

a. Only projects completed under NAICS Code 541330 will be reviewed and evaluated.

2. For the purposes of responding to this Sources Sought, are we permitted to include relevant past performance from current Large Business teaming subcontractors, where our firm served as a subcontractor and the prime contractor was a large business on those projects (LB completed >50%)? If so, are there any specific requirements or limitations regarding how this experience should be presented or credited in our submission?

a. No, the only past performance we will evaluate is where they performed as the prime contractor.
