Solicitation W9124X25QA015 Dental Treatment Services for the Nevada Army National Guard. Amendment 001 Questions and Answers Q1. The pricing sheet doesn't include bitewings and Pano X-rays. Usually this is a line item, so treatment can be verified post event. Would the government add this as a line item?
A1. Yes, we will add both as priced line items. The government has the capability and can provide copies. The bitewings will be current, but the Pano X-rays may not be.
Q2. Nitrous is not listed, but for extractions this is used quite often. Not all extractions require, so pricing it within dental code would unnecessarily raise price of all extractions. Can the government add nitrous as a line item?
A2. Yes, we will this as a priced line item.
Q3. Would the government consider adding pulp cap, as this treatment may be indicated instead of a root canal?
A3. Yes, we will this as a priced line item.
Q4. D5820 only covers maxillary partial dentures, while D5821 covers partial mandibular dentures. Confirm the government only wants D5820 maxillary partial dentures?
A4. We will add mandibular partial dentures D5281 as a line item.
Q5. IV sedation is required for bony impaction extractions; can a line item be added for that? Usually this is billed in 15-minute increments and total time under sedation varies per patient.
A5. Yes, we will this as a priced line items as initial and 15-minute increments.
Q6. PWS paragraphs 5.6.16 and 5.6.9 contradict, one states DENCLASS needs to be entered within 3 days, and the other says contractor will provide documentation to NVARNG OSS Case Manager for upload into DENCLASS. Does the contractor need DENCLASS access and be required to upload into it?
A6. This will be corrected in the PWS with paragraph 5.6.16 removed. The contractor will follow paragraph 5.6.9 and provide the documentation to the NVARNG OSS Case manager for upload into DENCLASS.
