Responses to Questions Submitted by Contractors

1. **Accommodation Types:**

- What types of accommodations are preferred for the camp? Are tents, cabins, or lodges preferred, and are there specific features or standards these accommodations should meet?

Response: Preference is for cabins or lodges. There are no specific features or standards to these accommodations other than the following:

The contractor must have at least two types of lodging:

1. Single private bedroom and private bath for NVNG staff/chaperones (At least five (5), but the total number of rooms will be determined after registration is complete, and registration will not be complete until after contract award).

2. Family style bedroom with bath for at least four persons (The total estimated registrants is 95 persons, but the total number of rooms will be determined after registration is complete, and registration will not be complete until after contract award).

2. **Transportation for Activities:**

- Will there be a need for transportation to and from off-site activities such as white-water rafting, zip-lining, or hiking? If so, should this transportation be included within our proposal, and are there particular safety standards or vehicle types required?

Response: White water rafting is not a part of the activities being requested on the SOR. Activities requested are expected to be on site with little to no transportation needed.

3. **Participant Details:**

- Could you provide more specifics on the number of children and adults expected to attend the camp, including the age range of the children? This information will help us tailor activities and accommodations appropriately.

Response: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer specifics until after the contract is awarded and registration has opened and closed. Per the SOR, we are expecting 100 participants this includes child and youth ages 0-18 and adult chaperones.

4. **Location and Proximity:**

- For activities planned outside the immediate area of the lodging facilities, what is the maximum acceptable distance for travel to these activities?

Response: Activities are requested to be onsite.

5. **Safety and Supervision:**

- What level of adult supervision is required per number of children, and are there specific qualifications or background checks required for those supervising the children?

Response: NVNG staff/chaperones will be present if the families have signed up for the event. The only supervision the contractor must provide is for activities such as rock climbing, horseback riding, or any activity that may pose a physical risk to attendees.

There are no specific qualifications or background checks required for contractor employees supervising activities.
