Solicitation W9124X22Q0029 Questions and Answers

Q1. For the UH47 Cart, the picture shows three wheels. Will three suffice?

A1. Three wheels will suffice; this makes manual steering easier on unimproved surfaces.

Q2. For the UH47 Cart width, is that measurement from outside the wheelbase or the inside?

A2. 45 inches inside the wheel base.

Q3. Are there pictures available without the Bambi Bucket on the carts?

A3. Additional photos of existing carts are attached.

Q4. On the UH‐60, are the sides required to be bolted on? (see picture #1 below) A4. The side pieces referenced are NOT required to be bolted on.

Q5. On the UH‐47, is the cart powered as it looks like there are wires (see picture #2 below) A5. The cart is not powered. The wire appearance in the photo is actually a welding joint.

Q6. On the UH‐47 cart, down the top completely roll on and off the bottom frame?

A6. The top (sled) does completely roll on and off the base, the bucket is rolled onto the sled and reeled back on with the cable and crank

Q7. On the UH‐47 cart, please explain the reasoning of the black side handle, gray pin & the bolts on top (see picture #3 below) A.7 The black side handle is not necessary or required. The grey pin is not part of the cart, just an item that was in the background. The bolts mount the wheel to the steering assembly.
