Redstone Rocket Solicitation – Questions and Answers:

1. Question: I have questions as it relates to understanding the purpose of the Past Performance Questionnaire for our solicitation proposal on the Redstone Rocket contract. We are current the contractor and it’s our only contract with the US Army and US Government. There are no major Sub Contractors.

Answer: (kk) The purpose of a Past Performance questionnaire is to obtain information on past and present performance. That is useful in determining whether a contractor is responsible.

2. Question: The Public Affairs Office and employees of the PAO are perhaps the only references we would have that would understand the requirements of the contract.

2a: Question: Are they eligible to complete this questionnaire?

2a: Answer: Yes, they are eligible to complete this questionnaire for your company.

2b: Question: Are there examples of other agencies, vendors or customers of TN Valley Media that would qualify? We do produce a product in partnership with AUSA and another product for MWR that publish in the Redstone Rocket. Also, our company has contracts with Decatur Chamber of Commerce and Morgan County Commission to produce products/newsletters for those entities. It doesn’t seem that the questionnaire would apply to them but I thought I would ask.

2b: Answer: If you are during publication work for any company out there that can comment on your past and present performance that is useful in determining whether a contractor is responsible can be used.

3. Question: Can we use customers that have no relationship to the Rocket but we produce products for them?

Answer: Yes, you can. They should be able to comment on the past and present performance of your company which will be useful in determining whether a contractor is responsible.

4. Question: Under the instructions, page 43, Volume III, Section 3, it notes the deadline for Past Performance Questionnaire no later than the proposal due date. The Questionnaire gives an October 4 due date but the proposal is due Oct. 20.

Is this for something else other than the questionnaire, or a later deadline for other types of questionnaires? Just wondered if I have more time for questionnaires.

Answer: The correct due date for the Past Performance Questionnaire should have been the same due date of the proposal. However, because we have extended the due date for the receipt of the proposal, the Past Performance Questionnaire are now due 28 Oct 2016.

5. Question: Volume III, section 1. We have one contract with the government, the current contract now under Solicitation. Is this the only contract to list under Section 1, or should we list contracts for our Past Performance questionnaires.

Answer: All customer that are within the past 5 years.

6. Question: Volume 3: Should I include the questionnaires in the proposal for the past Performance, or will you have them?

Answer: Please read Volume lll Section 3 and submit Past Performance Questionnaire IAW.
