1.6 Quality Control: The Contractor shall develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with this PWS. The Contractor shall develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non- recurrence of defective services. The Contractor’s quality control program is the means by which he assures himself that his work complies with the requirement of the contract. As a minimum, the contractor shall develop a Quality Control Plan (QCP) that addresses the areas identified in the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) (See Technical Exhibit 1). The Quality Control Plan shall be submitted within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of award. After submission of the QCP, the Contractor shall receive the Contracting Officer’s acceptance in writing.
If any proposed change to the QCP, the Contractor shall resubmit a revised QCP within ten (10) calendar days.
1.7 Quality Assurance: The Government will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this contract in accordance with its QCP and the Government’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). This plan is primarily focused on what the Government shall do to ensure that the Contractor has performed in accordance with the performance standards. It defines how the performance standards identified in the PRS (See Technical Exhibit 1) will be measured, by whom, the frequency of the surveillance, and the maximum acceptable defect rate(s).
