Q4) Are they ALL operational?

Q7) How many times per year do you require for each Prev. Maint. Call?
A7) Refer to paragraph 3.
Q8) Page 58, Performance Work Statement 3.0: Converter manual states converters should be cleaned and inspected once every six months or more frequently if operating conditions warrant it. As per previous conversations with converter distributor in 2011, it was their recommendation that we service inlet filters on a monthly basis and replacement on an annual basis. Servicing more frequently than once a month will prematurely damage the filters. Therefore, we are requesting consideration to suspend the weekly requirement for filter cleaning and resume with the current monthly servicing.
A8) Agree with monthly filter service. However if filters are found to be dirty during these services or converters start failing do to dirty intakes, weekly filter servicing must be done.
Q9) Section (b) states repair will be completed with Contractor provided repair parts. In the past, the Contractor has been allowed to invoice for parts. Will the Contractor be responsible for paying for the parts or will the Contractor continue to be allowed to invoice for necessary parts?
A9) Repair part costs will be paid by the government via a Not to Exceed amount of $30,000 per year. If the funds are not used by the end of the year, the funding will be deobligated. In the event repair costs for the year exceeds $30,000, the government will increase the funding to the CLIN via modification.
Q10) Section (c) states the Contractor submits solutions to COR for approval of repair cost but section (d) states the Contractor procures repair parts. We are asking for clarification. It is our understanding that the repair parts will be purchased by the Contractor but will be paid for with government funds through invoicing on line item 0002?
A10) The contractor will request approval from the COR. Upon the COR’s approval the contractor can then order the parts.
