About this file

This document appears to be a government file related to a federal contract opportunity for Hogan Assessment Systems, Inc. to provide a suite of assessment products and related services to the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Sam Houston.

The government's intent is to sole source this requirement directly to Hogan Assessment Systems for a 12-month base period and 12-month option period. The required products and services include the Hogan Insight Series Bundle, EQ Report, Leadership Forecast Series, Team Reports, Business Reasoning Inventory, and Judgment Report. The total quantities range from 10 to 1,000 units per assessment type. assessment scale, and subscales results. This graphical report will assist the psychologist's providing feedback by providing a quick summary of all the test results.

The Hogan EQ Report assesses emotional intelligence (EQ), the ability to identify and manage your own and others' emotions. This report provides an overall EQ score and feedback for six emotional intelligence competencies. The report also includes a summary of likely behaviors, score pros and cons, and discussion points. It uses the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) and Hogan Development Survey (HOS) personality assessments included in the EQ report purchase. Therefore, if the candidate elects, the EQ report can be derived from data completed at CAP.

Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory (HBRI) describes reasoning style - the ability to evaluate sets of data, make decisions, solve problems, and avoid repeating past mistakes. By assessing reasoning style, you can identify candidates' problem-solving style, understand their capacity, and identify areas for development. The first measure of reasoning ability designed to predict real-world performance in a business setting, the HBRI evaluates two kinds of problem solving: (1) qualitative reasoning, which involves working with data visualization, logic, and verbal information to solve problems, and (2) quantitative reasoning, which involves working with mathematical and spatial information to solve problems.

The Hogan Judgment Report provides an in-depth description of participants' information processing style, decision-making approach, decision-making style, reactions to feedback, and openness to feedback and coaching. Good judgment involves being willing to acknowledge and fix bad decisions and learn from experience.

Armed with this powerful knowledge, individuals can improve their decision-making and judgment. Judgment is a market innovation because it measures both cognitive ability and the personality characteristics that drive decision-making. The assessments and report focus the results on these 3 areas: Learn, Decide, and Adapt.

The Command Assessment Program (CAP) administers the Hogan Leadership Forecast Series (LFS) to select senior military ranking officials. This series of reports gives leaders a complete understanding of their performance capabilities, challenges, and underlying motivators. Each leader will take 3 core assessments - HPI, HOS, and MVPI. A report will be generated for each one of the core three assessments. In addition, a coaching report will include an integrated summary of the participant's potential, challenges, and values from the results of the HPI, HOS, and MVPI to provide a snapshot of interpersonal performance. A flash report will be generated to show a two-page graphical display of the scales and sub-scales of each core assessment.

Lastly, these products will be professional printed and for each participant in a LFS Binder.

The Hogan Team Report combines the individual results data from the Leadership Forecast Series team members' individual assessment scores to shed light on team dynamics. Teams and their leaders will gain understanding of the values and biases
