Would it be acceptable to Program and Code drones or robots to satisfy this requirement?

A1. Students need to learn the fundamentals of coding and programming to command and control devices such as cameras and sensors, drones and robots.

Q2. What type of facility/room will we be in? Will it be inside or outside?

A2.Both inside and out.

Q3. Will the Drones in Action be inside or outside? What is the airspace classification?

A7. Yes, we want the cadets to be introduced to this technology.

Q8. What is your intent for AI and machine learning?

A8. As a part of the learning curriculum, we want the students to be introduced to ‘Programming and Coding and know how AI and Machine Learning software can be programmed. Then the students will be able to execute the software onto a camera to see the software run against an object.

Q9. There is a requirement for assessment of the cadets. Would a 5-question quiz after each training (Drones in Action, 3D Printing, Robotic Exploration, and Programming and Coding) be acceptable?

A9. Yes.

Q10. The solicitation calls for hands-on for 135 students in each of the AM and PM sessions. We would like to suggest splitting the 3 hour and 15-minute session into 4 sessions of 50 minutes each with about 10 minutes to rotate between stations. We would divide the 130 students into 4 stations (33 students per station). Each group would rotate through the 4 stations so that everyone has hands-on training. Would this be acceptable or are we mandated to use the schedule found within the solicitation?

A10. This would be acceptable; however, further coordination would need to be made on site

Q11. Do we have access to a computer lab for the students?

A11. NO

Q12. Do the students have access to CAD software?

A12.NO

Q13. Will the instructors have guest privileges for computer access?
