SUBJECT: Industry Questions and Answers for the Cubicles and Furniture Installation.

1. I’ve reviewed the Solicitation and Performance Work Statements, and I didn’t see any mention of furniture hardware requirements. Please correct me if I’m mistaken, but it appears that only services are needed, and no new furniture items are required — is that correct?

Answer: No hardware needed.

2. What is the brand of the existing furniture system? Teknion? Friant?

Answer: Friant

3. Will there be electricals involved in the job such as disconnecting and reconnecting whips?

Answer: Yes, reconnection and disconnection of the cubicle’s outlets.

4. Do you require proper inventory after disassembly? If so, it would be advisable to palletize the panels and workstations so everything will be accounted for. Will the government be providing pallets or the contractor?

Answer: Yes, proper inventory is required and no, the government will not be providing pallets. The contractors will need to supply these.
