About this file

This is a solicitation for packing and crating services at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood is seeking these services to support household goods moves. The requirement includes outbound and inbound shipments, intra-city moves, and additional services. The period of performance is a base year starting in January 2024 with four optional one-year extensions, for a total of five years. The acquisition will result in an fixed-price delivery order contract. The solicitation instructs offerors to submit proposals in three volumes for price, technical approach, and past performance. The technical submission must demonstrate the offeror's capability to perform weighing, packing, loading, tagging, and other logistical tasks. The submission also requires information on licenses, equipment, and daily throughput capacity. The government will award to the offeror whose acceptable proposal offers the lowest evaluated price.
