NCCA ICIDS RFI
1. How will the Government fund replacement equipment if something is found broken during PM? GPC or CLIN set aside for ODC?
Any supplies or replacement equipment will be procured through government purchase card iAW the threshold of the GPC program.
2. Outside of the twice a year inspection, if a service call comes in how does the Government plan to pay the Contractor for these services?
Refer to Amendment 0001 of the Combined Synopsis.
3. What is the difference between CLIN 1 and CLIN2?
Refer question 2.
4. On average how many calls a year does the Government usually have on the system outside of the twice a year inspections?
None – case-by-case based on the issue and can be resolved typically over the phone or listed on spreadsheet for the next service/PM.
5. Can you tell me if these services are currently being performed by a contractor? If so, could you please provide the incumbent name as well as the contract number?
This is new requirement.
6. The SOW references service calls multiple times, (i.e. para 7.2). An unscheduled service call is generally regarded as a service that is required not during the normal scheduled semiannual maintenance & service (M&S) visits. Does the solicitation require unscheduled service calls to be performed outside the regularly scheduled M&S visits? If yes, how should those unscheduled visits be priced? (It’s not possible to provide a fixed price for an unfixed / unknown service). There is no CLIN for unscheduled service.
Refer to question 2, and updated CLIN description.
7. Just to be clear, our interpretation of the SOW, then, is that the contractor will be required only to respond to unscheduled service calls via telephone within 24 hours; correct?
The Government anticipates that the offeror will return calls within 24 hours or an email response to discuss the issue.
