Solicitation W9124A-17-R-0004
Installation Laundry Services
Question responses as of 0930 hours, Monday, 1 May 2017
Question 6: Must this be done on your premises or at my place of business?
Answer 6: The Performance Work Statement (PWS), paragraph 1.2 states: “The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, materials and transportation and any other items necessary to perform the operation of the contractor owned contractor operated facility.” Fort Huachuca no longer has a laundry facility on the installation, so work would be done at your place of business.
Question 7: Is it possible for me to get past prices for this job?
Question 7: Individual prices for individual items fall into the category of proprietary information. Total estimated award amount for current contract W9124A-12-C-0004 can be found on US Government informational/funding websites. NOTE: Current contract amounts are not representative of amounts estimated for this solicitation and resultant contract. See Technical Exhibits A & B in the Performance
Work Statement (PWS) and the appropriate pricing schedule (A-E).
Question 8 (verbatim): Is this able to be subcontracted and after awarded what percentage if one will be given upfront?
Answer 8: The resultant contract can be subcontracted out. Periods of Performance remain unchanged.
Percentages used for “phase in” costs are dependent on your proposal, as there is no fixed amount for
“phase in” costs. Reminder: Per solicitation clause 52.212-2 (b) Factor II-Price, proposals will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria.
