The storage of address books must not be kept within the MFD. Scan to e-mail solution shall enforce non-repudiation by using the PKI certificates on the user’s card to identify the user’s e-mail address to be automatically placed in the “FROM” field of the e-mail coming from the MFD. This field shall not be editable by the device user.
2.2.11. Digital signature, FIPS 140-2 validated encryption, and classification of information at the MFD will be supported in compliance of Army Directive 2013-22 and Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5200.45 dated 02 April 2013 for scan to email functionality.
