About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding Request for Quotation number W9124723Q0016 from the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command for crane services at the 82nd Airborne Division during branch week in September. Engineering drawings are not required as the crane location is a gravel parking lot near coordinates 41.34355920991712, -74.0643330200353, and the only potential obstructions are dorms, academic buildings and structures. Rigging equipment onsite has openings large enough for standard army lifts. Storage space will be provided onsite during the period between contracts from September 1-11 for any crane or equipment.

Text version

Engineering Drawings: The requirement for drawings depends on the location of the crane and what obstacles it may face while lifting. Do you have an exact location of the crane which indicates the ground type (soil, concrete, asphalt, etc.) as well any obstructions (i.e. dorms, academic buildings, structures, etc.).

Its more of a gravel parking lot.

Approx..

41.34355920991712, -74.0643330200353

Rigging Equipment: In reviewing the pictures provided in the solicitation we see that some pieces have rigging points. Can you provide the size of the openings at each rigging point of the equipment.

Also, what is the dimensions of M777.

Based on limited time wont be able to provide specific, but it is large enough for a U.S. Army standard 25K apex. Pictured below.

Mobilization/Demobilization: During the break between Sep 1st and Sep 11th, will the crane and equipment need to be mobilized or is there a storage space or safe area to keep everything at?
