| Product Characteristics, #3, training: | At how many agency facilities will the users be located? | Over 500 |
| Product Characteristics, #5, written permission for records search: This requirement is applicable to records searches in accordance with employment actions, hence, consistent with the types of permission required for inquiries pertaining to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including eligibility for employment actions. | Our understanding is that the data being requested in this solicitation will be used for locating personnel, which would not be an FCRA-regulated purpose nor require written permission from the individuals. (This vendor’s solution is well suited to locating personnel and other due diligence and investigative research, but cannot be used for FCRA-regulated purposes.) If our understanding is correct and the requested data will be used for locating personnel, would you consider removing requirement #5? | I say yes, but will leave that to the KO. |
