About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for federal contract opportunity W9123826QA017, Success Lake - Office Janitorial Services. The document addresses 17 bidder inquiries regarding contract performance requirements, submission procedures, and facility specifications.

Key operational requirements clarified include: monthly in-person quality control inspections by the prime contractor are mandatory, with no alternative remote methods accepted; prime contractor attendance at pre-work meetings is required in person for the base year and each option year; normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with contractor access during stated hours; and unescorted facility access for contract employees will be coordinated after award during the pre-contract meeting. Regarding specific services, the Government confirmed that only the Office Headquarters and Tule fee buildings contain carpeted areas requiring semi-annual shampooing, and monthly pressure washing applies to building exteriors only, excluding roofs. Government water connections are available on site for pressure washing operations. Facilities are available for site visits Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with contractors encouraged to visit to obtain accurate square footage measurements for carpeted areas, restrooms, and pressure washing locations. Quote submission procedures require electronic email submission to both contacts listed on SAM.gov, and all required forms, attachments, representations, and certifications are detailed in the Performance Work Statement. The Government declined requests for virtual meeting attendance, designating local supervisors to perform QC inspections on behalf of the prime contractor, or providing specific square footage measurements without site visits.
