About this file
This document provides details on an upcoming federal contract opportunity for upgrade lighting work at the Military Ocean Terminal Concord facility in California. The United States Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District intends to solicit design-bid-build construction services through an invitation for bids to remove 396 existing interior and exterior high-intensity lighting fixtures and replace them with energy efficient LED lights. The project also involves electrical panel modifications and installation of twenty-four aluminum poles and exterior lights to cover additional areas. The anticipated contract value is between $1 million to $5 million. The solicitation is planned as a woman-owned small business set-aside to be issued in March 2024 with bids due in late April. Offerors must register in systems like SAM and PIEE to receive or submit bids. The document outlines documentation required for a planned site visit and security screening processes due to the facility being a restricted access military installation.
