Questions from Black Butte Vegetation Mitigation W9123823Q0061
1. Are there other licenses needed other than C-27?
The contract lists the following in section 10.6. “The contractor shall hold all permits, licenses, and certificates required by the State of California and both Glenn and Tehama County as required, and provide proof of all permits, licenses, and certifications before commencement of work.”
2. Reading through the scope when interpreting "3' from a side" we are talking about manually removing/cutting weeds/vegetation, correct? Only when it specifies "Spot Spray weeds" are we talking about applying herbicides? I just want to be clear that majority of this contract is manually cutting/removing veg as opposed to entirely herbicide applications.
The intention for this contract is to utilize herbicide application as the primary means to remove the vegetation to create a weed and debris free area. Mechanical removal, such as weed eating or cutting, would assist the herbicide application to ensure no vegetation matter is present when service is complete for each service period as stated in the contract section 12. “Contractor shall service all areas listed in Attachment C completely according to schedule, following the approved performance plan, and ensuring all areas are in a ‘no standing plant and/or accumulated debris’ condition during the duration of this service period.”
