About this file

This is a Questions & Answers document (Amendment 01) for federal contract solicitation W911YN-26-Q-A026 for an AMRT Telescoping Mast. Quotations must be submitted via email to robert.j.glanowski.civ@army.mil or darrin.j.weaver.mil@army.mil with vendor questions due by 04 September 2026. Vendors must complete page 3 of solicitation section B with unit price and total amount.

The solicitation is for supply of one AMRT telescoping mast (Product Service Code 5445, NAICS 334220) under a firm fixed price arrangement. Installation and integration services are not included; the trailer manufacturer will handle installation on a new trailer. The mast must support a 200 lb. payload and be suitable for rugged mobile deployment in harsh coastal environments. Equivalent commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products are acceptable if all product description capabilities are met. MIL-STD-810 environmental testing is required as the standard for harsh environment deployment. Warranty covers materials and workmanship for one year after delivery; no maintenance, training, commissioning, inspection, or demonstration is required. IUID marking and reporting apply if the item costs $5,000 or greater. Site visits are not being conducted. Buy American Act and Covered-Telecommunications compliance requirements apply. Exhibit A provides an AMRT trailer floorplan showing the mast mounted on the nose of the exterior trailer.

3. Question: Whether this is supply-only or includes installation/integration with the

YF309J / Mobile Operations Command Trailer?

Answer: Supply only. The mast will be installed on a new trailer. The trailer manufacturer will install the mast on the new trailer.

4. Question: Available interface drawings, dimensions, photographs, or technical data for the extended wall mount and custom mast-head adaptor?

Answer: The Govt. does not have possession of the new trailer, so there are no exact measurements yet. We expect the mast to support a 200 lb. payload.

See Exhibit A – AMRT Trailer Floorplan.

5. Question: Whether equivalent COTS products are acceptable if every Product Description capability is met?

Answer: COTS products are acceptable if capabilities are met.

6. Question: Acceptable evidence of MIL-STD-810 testing?

Answer: Our case use requires a rugged telescoping mast for mobile deployment in harsh coastal environments. MIL-STD-810 environmental testing is a standard offered by all the vendors we talked to during market research and is most appropriate for our case use. We do not have any means for independent verification of this standard.

7. Question: Required warranty period and any maintenance, training, commissioning, inspection, or demonstration?

Answer: Warranty against materials and workmanship for a period of one year after receipt of delivery. Maintenance, training, commissioning, inspections, or demonstration is not required with this purchase.
