Cable Television & Wireless Internet Services

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS SET 1

1. One big question, do you really want or need a GB x 50meg solution?

-A: Yes. As stated in SOW, Provide a minimum 1GB download and 50 Mbps upload speed or better internet service to the Public Affairs Office.

2. What is the effective date service?

– A: Should be installed within 2-5 working days after contract awarded.

3. Is there another document outlining what TV channels or content them are seeking?

- A: Provide at least these channels in HD:

- The Weather Channel, St. Johns Community Channel, WJXT, WJXX, , WJAX, WTLV, Fox News Channel, Cable News Network, HLN, CNBC, CSPAN, BBC America, WJCTDT4 (WJCT-DT4), MSNBC

4. The GB Internet being delivered into buildings is only distributed nby wireless?

– A: As stated in SOW, There should be at least two hard wired ports within the router and ensure that each room is saturated (100% coverage) with a wireless signal.

5. How big are the two rooms that they want wireless access in? Do you a layout drawing?

– A: We have a space around 3k sq ft, one floor, with 3 separate rooms that have concrete walls (thick black lines) with doorways for each room. See rough drawing. Repeaters may be needed within the rooms with concrete walls.

6. Do you have a facility footprint showing building 118?

–A: No. Just the rough drawing I have attached.

7. What building will the data rack be installed in?

– A: PAO office.

- A: We have the 2 tvs. The input is HDMI for both.

9. We assume the Length of Service under section 8.0 refers to a transition period after the first 12 months?

- A: Yes. Please provide the length of time needed within your company if there is a transition.

10. On page 8 of the SOW, it makes reference to service "on Camp Blanding" We assume that is an error because Camp Blanding is part of the National Guards Military post 60 miles from St.

Augustine.

– A: Yes this is in error. The location is at Saint Francis Barracks located at 82 Marine Street, St.

Augustine, Fla. 32084 Please refer to 1.1. TELEVISION SERVICE. In SOW

11. Do you want coax or fiber service?

- A: Whatever is the best solution for our location? We already have coax in the building and at the site of router.

12. Dynamic or Static IP addresses -A: Dynamic IPs

13. Would you consider a IP TV OTT solution vs regular cable?
