Solicitation W911YN19Q0005 Questions and Answers

Q1. Is this intended to be a multiple award contract for this short time frame?

A1. Multiple awards may be made in accordance with the solicitation.

Q2. Up to how many awardees does the customer intend or anticipate to award the contract? Is there a maximum or a minimum number of vendors that can be awarded?

A2. There is no maximum number of vendors that can receive an award. Minimum would be one.

Q3. As far as the multiple award, would awards be broken down by each event including dental treatment, or is it possible that separate awards will be made for Dental treatment and PHAs for the same event to different companies?

Dental treatment is only separated on the solicitation as a means to readily identify the cost for dental treatment for reporting purposes.

Q4. Does a subcontractor have to be of a "like" company via i.e. revenue under 11 million and Woman Owned on this contract?

Q6. Solicitation reads: “The contracting officer shall assume, for the purpose of making multiple awards, that $500 would be the administrative cost to the Government for issuing and administering each contract awarded under a solicitation. Individual awards shall be for the items or combinations of items that result in the lowest aggregate cost to the Government, including the assumed administrative costs.” Do we need to do anything with the $500 figure in our proposal?

A6. No. This is for information purposes only and explains the decision making for multiple awards.

Q7. All nine events list 0 labs for ABO, G6PD and DNA. Will FLARNG be doing this organically? If not, please give approximate numbers for appropriate staffing, supplies and test costs. As it appears currently, contractor is only doing lab draws for lipids (over 40s), and HIV. Is this correct?

A8. No. Please follow the PWS.

Q9. . Is the contractor scrubbing Soldiers charts? If so, will the government provide the computers/ IT to access and view in a task force?
