2 I am hoping to find out if the subject effort is a new requirement or a follow-on to an existing contract?

There is no incumbent contractor, this is a new requirement.

3 Call paragraphs 6.1, White Paper Submission Instructions

Call Section 3.1, SUB- TOPIC 106: Chases

SUB-TOPIC 106: Chases. Could you please clarify for us chases and the definition of it?

Definition: Chase - A physical distribution structure, such as a groove, tray or conduit, used for routing cables.

4 Call Section 4.1 White Papers/Proposal Instructions

Clarification on the delivery of White Papers. If I would like to submit multiple White Papers, will I need to request separate SAFE drop-off requests for each White Paper? Or can I use a single SAFE drop-off request to submit all of the White Papers at once?

Multiple individual white papers can be submitted via one DoD SAFE request.

5 Call Section 4.1.2 Second Step - Proposal and Master BAA Section 3.3 Type of Contract/Instrument

The BAA lists Grants and Cooperative Agreements, Other Transaction Agreements, and Procurement Contracts as possible award types, and the Call doesn't provide any other supplemental information. We would like to confirm that Other Transaction Agreements for Prototype Projects are appropriate

The types of contract/instrument available for award are described in Section 3.3 of the Master BAA.

6 Call Section2 Call General Information and Section 5 Government Furnished Information/Data

Are these related to the Integration Trades and Analysis proposal? In one document it is stated that the deadline for a submission was 29 June 2018 for the JCA Product Developer Call for the Joint Multi- Role Technology Demonstrator. Also, is the Comprehensive Architecture Strategy file to allow for a background of understanding of the technical requirements for the Innovative Integration Trades and Analysis contract?

The supplemental package information is provided to understand the approach to be matured. These documents are supplements to the Call only.
