1 Master BAA W911W6-

18-R-0005 Section 4.4

Foreign Entities

Are international companies welcome to participate in this solicitation?

Participation is limited to US firms as Prime

Contractors; however, foreign owned entities can participate as subcontractors/recipients to U.S. prime contractors/recipient.

2 Call Section 2.0 Will this solicitation consider proposals for small UAS? Or is it limited to the >200lb category?

Technologies proposed should be applicable to UAS in the 200-7500 lbs. range. If a technology is proposed to be tested at a smaller scale, the proposal should clearly show potential scalability and the statement of work should have task(s) and a technology transition/integration plan to verify scalability to UAS in this weight range.

Does the Modification posted as solicitation number

W911W618R0018 on FBO contain requirements similar to an existing contract or will this be a new requirement?

There is no incumbent contractor, this is a new requirement.

4 Call Section 2.0 The solicitation states: The Army would also desire to test these identified technologies at a relevant scale in a representative environment such as a wind tunnel and/or environmental (e.g. sand and rain erosion) test rigs.

Will proposal which use static ground test and high fidelity aero analysis of the forward flight performance be rejected?

The proposal should clearly substantiate the validity of the proposed relevant testing environment and/or computational analysis. The proposed SOW should also include technology transition planning to include future testing required to mature and ultimately integrate the technology. The proposal will then be evaluated against the evaluation criteria to determine suitability / benefit to the Government.
