Replies to questions. W911SG25BA043 REPAIR SEWER LINES BLDG 25900 RFI

Per James C. Nunez DPW Engineer August 12, 2025.

QUESTIONS:

1. Plans show a straight line into the building but during the site visit we were told to go around a computer desk, is this correct?

Reply: Do not recall anyone mentioning going around the computer desk. There is a rather large test bed a few feet to the West of the existing sewer line route. We all gathered in the lab on the North side of building. This is where the sewer line exits the building and where the floor is to be cut to install the new sewer line.

2. If we go around the computer we will need to leave the pipe abandoned under the computer desk, is this your intent?

Reply: Follow the demolition plan as show on Sheet 03.

3. During the site visit, we were taken to another section of the building not displayed on the plans but we were told that these areas were to be included in our bid, is this correct?

Reply: No, one contractor asked what other fixtures contributed waste to this sewer line.

We went to the other areas of the building looking for clean out and plumbing fixtures.

This project scope is as shown on the drawing set plans. Tie in as shown on note #1 sheet #4.

4. If question number#3 is correct, are you guys providing an updated set of plans?

Reply: No the plans are accurate.
