About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Questions and Answers document for the B15 Roof Replacement project (Solicitation W911SG25BA016). The RFI addresses key clarifications about project staffing requirements, including that the superintendent, Safety and Security Health Officer (SSHO), and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) must be separate personnel, with SSHO and QA/QC requiring full-time commitment. Additional clarifications include confirmation that tax should be included in the proposal, prevailing wages will remain consistent throughout the project, and a CLIN 0002 for lead abatement is included based on survey findings.
The RFI also provides guidance on obtaining roof measurements, indicating that original as-built drawings will be attached to the solicitation for measurement purposes. The project involves replacing the roof system for Building 15 at Fort Bliss, TX, with specific requirements for a new metal shingle roof system, including wood plank deck replacement, self-adhering underlayment, and metal roof shingles. The project is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside with an estimated value between $250,000 and $500,000, and a 120-day performance period after Notice to Proceed.
