Text version

May aerial treatments be applied by fixed wing aircraft for this project?

Yes. There will require a little more coordination with our Air Traffic & Airspace Officer.

The solicitation states aerial herbal application, you mention helicopter in the bid.

Are aerial drones acceptable ?

Yes, a drone is acceptable.

We are working on a quote for you on the Aerial Herbicide Application and would like to know if there is any flexibility on the brands of the products/chemicals that can be used for the application.

Yes but contractors must use only EPA and State registered pesticide that have been approved for use on Fort Moore. We would prefer what was specified because it will give us the results needed and it is on the “approved list.”

Would we be able to get our trucks within a mile of each of the treatment areas in order to load fuel and herbicide into the helicopter?

Yes, myself and the COTR will accompany the contractor throughout the entire operation. All sites have very elaborate roads and or tank trails.
