Contractor Questions – Contractor Question #1:

The contract covers a large area are there no zones of service for different rates? Cost to do a move 150 miles away are much more than one 10 miles away.

Govt Answer #1:

The Pricing Schedule includes Schedule 1 (Outbound Services), Schedule 2 (Inbound Services), Schedule 3 (Intra-City and Intra-Area Moves) Services and each Schedule includes Zone 25, Zone 26 and Zone 27 in Base and all Option Years.

Contractor Question #2:

How will we determine what to charge for storage without bidding a storage rate?

Govt Answer #2:

Sub CLIN 0001CU in the Pricing Schedule has the description for storge along with the unit price. It is included for Base and all Option Years.

Contractor Question #3:

Will there be no baggage shipments in this contract? I didn’t see a clin to bid that.

Govt Answer #3:

The Pricing Schedule includes Complete Services for Outbound and Inbound Unaccompanied Baggage. For example, in the Base year those CLINs are Sub CLIN 0001 CA-CF and so on for each service. Unaccompanied Baggage services are included and in all zones for Schedules 1,2 and 3.

Need some additional information regarding the equipment required for our upcoming project. Specifically, we need to clarify whether we should provide a 53-foot box trailer that is refrigerated or dry.
