Salient Characteristics for Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System

Control Tower requires ‐

15” All in One Touch screen, Desk flush mounted, redundant communication multimode fiber optic including power supply

Operations Office Requires –

21” All in One Touch screen, wall mounted, redundant communication multimode fiber optic including power supply

Vault Requires ‐

1. PLC with 5.7” Touch Screen for 5 constant current regulators, 4 general elements (Beacon, Traffic Light and two more elements) control, 24” on 24” Nema 12 enclosure, voltage and current full monitoring, redundant programmable logic controller, redundant communication multimode fiber optic and uninterruptable power supply

2. Potential Transformer – for constant current regulator voltage measurement

3. Current Transformer ‐ for constant current regulator current measurement

On site Commissioning

1. Circuits/Constant Current Regulators calibration

2. Computers Network

3. Site Acceptance Test

4. Training during Commissioning

5. Warranty

6. System commissioning and Testing.

7. Inspect and account for all necessary equipment to do job.

8. Meet with contractor and discuss the planned schedule for commissioning. Set‐up tentative date for switchover to new system.

9. Configure and test system hardware and software.

10. Run Site Acceptance Test.

11. Maintenance and ATC Training

12. Coordinate and perform final inspection with appropriate parties. Have form signed that indicates our work is satisfactory and complete.

13. Mark up drawing in order to produce As‐Built drawings as part of the maintenance manual

14. Provide required access and escort through entire commissioning effort

15. Move all new equipment to proper locations

16. Install all equipment as specified in the shop drawings submittal

17. Provide input power and grounding for all equipment’s, including any required conduit and/or cabling

18. Coordinate final inspection with appropriate parties.

19. Sign off System Acceptance on the Verification form when the system is accepted.
