Questions Answered W911S2-23-U-BALL

• Item 6: Our question was regarding the allowable width and height of the machine. Please see the attached Plate C clearance diagram and advise if these dimensions are acceptable.

The building this will be housed in has a doorway that is 14’ x 14’ and can accommodate 36’ in length.

• Item 16: Please confirm that ROADWATCH part number 849-1262-003 is the desired sensor.

This will meet our needs.

• Item 17: Four corner HID work lock system. Are LED lights acceptable in place of HID?

We require the HID as not only do they provide increased lighting during night operations, but these lights produce heat which eliminate the buildup of snow and ice on the lights themselves. LED’s do not produce any heat to melt this off.

• Item 22: Scannable Labels. We do not offer any machine identification labels such as railroads use on their rolling stock – is this what is requested?

The PBO is following Army Policy that a scannable UID will be placed on all Army Equipment.
