Statement of Work FY 18 AFSBn-Carson VTC Upgrade / Install The ARMY Field Support Battalion (AFSBn) on Fort Carson (FTC) would like to have a newly procured Cisco SX20 QuickSet video teleconferencing (VTC) kit installed within their conference room for SIPRNet VTC call capability. The room’s current TANDBERG MXP series VTC Coder/Decoder (CODEC) is no longer supported on the network and needs to be replaced with the SX20 kit.
Vendor will furnish, test, program and commission the following itemized equipment for the SX20 kit installation upgrade:

Due to the antiquated systems components and equipment within the conference room, additional equipment is needed to allow the new SX20 kit to be compatible with the older in-room Audio Video (AV) equipment such as scalers, scan converters and extenders. This additional equipment will allow the transition to and from analog and digital AV signals to and from the SX20 kit and the AV system to be mostly seamless.
Remove any GFE that is not needed for integration into the new SX20 VTC equipment solution. This equipment will be provided to the government for disposition.
Each AV component, equipment and cabling will be installed by an experienced AV professional utilizing the industry’s standards and upholding quality assurance. The required rack equipment will be installed in the existing GFE Audio Video (AV) equipment rack and at the location specified to vendor at the time of installation. Final location of the field and rack equipment will be determined while on site.
In-room AV equipment, components and cabling will be determined on site for their final locations and will be agreed upon by both vendor and government representatives. In addition to the installation of this equipment, Vendor will provide professional control and DSP programming. This programming will be an accumulation of industry and DoD standards and implementations.
All cabling for this project will be plenum-rated where applicable and installation within plenum spaces will be supported by structural supports as required (J-hooks, etc.). All exposed installed-cabling will be dressed utilizing expandable sleeves or cable channels as needed.
Vendor is not responsible for the quality, operational status and/or configuration of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
Vendor will provide a Level-1 system warranty on the proposed AV Systems upgrade for a period of twelve (12) months from system acceptance. This system warranty is not a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and is based on software and hardware issues that may come up during the 12-month warranty period. The Level-1 warranty service includes:
