Questions from Industry 22 September 2016
Q1: Bid Schedule Items-Are they to be completed in Year One of the Contract or Over the 3 year Period?
A1: The majority of the bid items listed on the bid sheet will be ordered during the first year of the ordering period.
Q2: Is the Pricing on the Bid Schedule to be for 1 year (per Year) or the total 3 years?
A2: Material prices should be for all three years. Wage rates can be adjusted each year based on updated wage determinations.
Q3: Is there a Specification (Cut Sheet) (Vendor) for the type of breakaway system required for the posts?
A3: There is no cut sheet or vendor for breakaway posts since the post design may differ between post manufacturers and type of post (u-channel, perforated square, round, wood).
Q4: There is no wage determination provided in the solicitation. What wage determination is the government using for labor rates?
A4: Wage determinations have been added to the solicitation. Attachment 4: SCA Wage Determination applies for work less than 40 hours. Attachment 5: Davis Bacon Wage Determination applies for work 40 hours or greater.
Q5: Is monthly invoicing permitted?
A5: Monthly invoicing is allowed for work completed and accepted by the government.
