A list of sub-contractors in the local area can be provided if necessary.
2
It is undersutood the vendor will make all utility drop connections to the equipment, however, will RRAD or the awarded vendor provide the utility drops down to the equipment location?
RRAD will provide an electrical disconnect and air connection within 20 feet of the equipment location. The vendor will be required to connect from the RRAD provided utility connections to the torque equipment. See section 4 of purchase description (PD).
3
Could pictures of the track parts being assembled, fasteners and the table be provided?
A similar track section and build table photo will be attached to the solicitation.
4
Are there drawings of the tracks / fasteners and facility area that can be shared?
A drawing of the build table is attached with the solicitation. The required build table is currently being fabricated. A photo of a similar build table is attached with the solicitation. Technical drawings of the specific track parts will not be provided. Specification requirements for the track fasteners and the required torque requirements are included with the Purchase Description.
5
What is the desired range of vertical motion?
Current operational equipment provides approximately 30” of vertical motion.
6
What is the desired range of rotational motion?
Current operational equipment provides approximately 190 degrees of rotational motion.
7
Are the fasteners in an array such that the assist could be a multispindle? (beneficial for torque reaction and cycle time)
Multi-spindle is acceptable as long as the torque and functional requirements are met. Pictures of the T-158 track is attached in the solicitation.

Could more information on the fastener types / sizes being torqued be provided?
The fastener sizes are listed in section 3.1.4 of the PD, and are of standard hex design (15/16”, 1 5/16”, 1 1/8”). All of the fasteners will need to be torqued from the top of the track when laying in the build table. No fasteners need to be torqued from the sides or ends of the track.
9
Is there a torque sequence / profile to be followed for any of the fasteners?
No. None required.
10
Is there a specified tolerance on the final torque value?
The only applicable tolerance for this application is listed in section 3.1.2 of the PD -
Center-guide – 180-240 ft-lbs.
End-connector – 350-410 ft-lbs.
Pad Nut – 260-300 ft-lbs.
