About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation W911QY-25-R-MWR-SHEDS, issued by the Army for MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) Storage Sheds. The Q&A provides critical details about the shed installation requirements, including site conditions and contractor expectations. Key details include: the installation site is paved with asphalt, no specific pad is required, but contractors must prepare the surface according to International Building Codes. The government is flexible on shed specifications, including being open to 30-year warranty asphalt shingles and alternative siding materials like Hardie, vinyl, and clapboard. While no site visits are scheduled, photos and a site map are available on SAM.gov, and the area is generally level, though some shimming and final leveling will be necessary.
