The U.S. Government intends to solicit and negotiate a one-year base contract with four one-year option periods with MIT to provide access to its 300+ research centers and 3,000+ faculty and staff to assist in solving complex problems relevant to the Government's needs. This is a sole-source procurement as MIT is the only known program capable of making the required industrial connections between industry and the research community. Any responsible source who believes it can meet the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote, which will be considered by the agency.
