A: It indicates the number of pieces of equipment requiring that particular service (e.g. only annual).

AMENDMENT P0001

Q: Our Firm is preparing our response to solicitation W911QX23R0018 for Mobile & Stationary Equipment Maintenance and Repair. In so doing, the PWS Attachment 1 Mobile Maintenance Equipment list shows 394 pieces of equipment. The PWS requirement states that the mobile maintenance and repair services are for 195 pieces of equipment. This is 199 pieces of excess equipment discrepancy and is double the amount of equipment required to be maintained. Our assumption is that this is due to duplicate line items on the PWS Attachment 1 - Mobile Maintenance Equipment list. When removing the duplicate line items, the count then equals 263 pieces of mobile equipment leaving a discrepancy of 68 excess pieces of mobile equipment. Which of the 68 pieces of excess mobile equipment are we to exclude? Or should these be included? Please clarify.

A: The Government revised the CLIN format to clarify the required services for any given equipment listed on the spreadsheet. Furthermore, the Government included “Optional Efforts” for additional pieces of equipment that may be required for any of the services listed in the PWS, as stated in the spreadsheet. These options should be proposed on a FFP basis for the type of service required.
