Please provide a Capabilities Statement, which must address the following items:
A. Provide EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) molding on backshells for cable assemblies:
1. Do you have experience with EPDM molding on backshells for cable assemblies? Describe the type of work your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirements? Describe your ability to manage the project and meet this requirement in accordance with the associated drawing.
2. Are you able to provide EPDM molding in accordance with both specifications.
(SAE-AMS3260) and (ASTM D2768)?
3. Are you able to mold large and smaller size connectors?
4. Is there any special tooling that may be needed for this process? If so, do you possess that tooling?
5. How long would you need to accomplish this requirement?
B. Fabricate the entire cable assembly/assemblies:

7. Are you able to do the EPDM molded backshell in its entirety?
8. Are you able to provide the raw cable that is already in the EPDM molded sleeving?
*Note: We are having difficulty finding a vendor that will supply us with the raw cable already jacketed in the EPDM. If we can procure that cable, we can fabricate the entire cable assembly.
However, we would still have to outsource to someone to do the EPDM molded back shell. See cable preparation document 13553553_01.
