QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question 1. Can you clarify the laser gas mixtures that you are currently using so we can provide accurate pricing. I am guessing you are using two different mixtures?

Answer 1. Yes, two different mixtures are used.

Question 2.Is it possible for the tank size to be upgraded ? The current usage of Letterkenny far exceeds the current tank size.

Answer 2. Yes, the tank can be upgraded if necessary. We’re only concerned that there are no issues when hooked up to the lines leading to the laser machines.

Question 3. Who owns the piping around the tank area ? Letterkenny or Hahn ?

Answer 3. Letterkenny owns all the pad/property around the bulk tanks.

Question 4. Do we have 24/7 access to the tank?

Answer 4. Currently, there is not 24/7 access to the bulk Nitrogen and Oxygen tanks located outside building 350.

It is preferred that gas deliveries be made at 06:00AM – 3:30 PM Mondays through Saturdays. Should the contractor require 24 hour access during the removal and installation of bulk tanks during change over, they need to make arrangements with the COR. Delivery gas drivers will need to stop by building #2 Pass & ID office to get temporary security gate pass during their deliveries unless they already have a badge.

Question 5. CLIN 0003 is specific to the laser gas mixes. 4.3.2 in the SOW is specific to 100% N2 cylinders for the cold spray system, however it was indicated while at the site visit that N2 may not even be required. It sounded like they wouldn't be used because of the consumption. I think a tie‐in to the bulk tank was considered, but unfortunately, I don't think it can support the pressure requirements for the equipment.

Answer 5. The Laser‐mix gases will continue being used for our (2) Laser Cutting machines. Yes, each Laser Machine uses a different type of gas mixture as stated in the PWS:

(Type‐1) 5% Co2 & 35% NI

W911N219R0012

(Type‐2) 5% Co2 & 40% HE

The Cold Spray System will be using 12‐Packs of Helium & Nitrogen Cylinder bottles.

The Nitrogen Lines leading to Cold Spray System from the Bulk Tank was something we were speculating on getting installed but we'll need quotes and approvals from Environmental, Safety and facilities Office to clarify possibilities and any concerns before even a decision can be made.
