QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q1) In regards to Section 3.5- Contractor Responsibilities: Remove all excess equipment, shipping crates, scrap, and consumable materials used by the contractor for shipment and installation of the equipment. These units will be delivered on a pallet with a box and some packing materials. Since the manufacturer will be coming from Atlanta to install, they do not have any means to dispose of the packaging. Can this requirement be changed?
A1) Please delete the statement requiring removal of all excess equipment, shipping crates, scrap, and consumable materials used by the contractor for shipment and installation of the equipment.
Q2) Section 4.2.6. Design Specifications:
The system must provide a minimum of a 5-gallon stainless steel tank system with sight glass to monitor the system fluid levels. Please confirm a 10 gallon tank is acceptable. After speaking with the manufacturer, they noticed one error in the specs. They do not have a 5 Gallon Stainless Steel Tank rather a 10 Gallon Stainless Steel Tank with Sight Tube. Can this requirement be changed?
A2) The 10 gallon tank is acceptable.
