Synopsis: Dyno Model 8163 equivalent This specification establishes a requirement for replacing & procuring nine new dyno’s model 8163 or equivalent. These dynos are currently used in test cell one and two located in building 474 and cells 7, 8, 9 and 18 located in building 410 at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Anniston, Alabama. The dynos are nearing the end of their usable life and need to be replaced. The Government requires nine dynos to supply both test cells in building 474 and 4 test cells in 410. We require 3 more for spare in order to reduce downtime during breakdowns.
The contractor shall provide nine dynos that meet the requirements provided by Anniston Army Depot. The Dynos should be nine new TR1500-E8 (model 8163 equivalent) water cooled eddy current wet gap dynamometer mounted in a tub base with approximate footprint of 36” x 45”.
The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334519 and the associated size standard is 500. The solicitation will be set aside 100% for small businesses. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://www.fbo.gov. Estimated issue date is 12 February 2019. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
