This requirement is for portable electric jacks to be used in conjunction with a locomotive refurbishment process at the Defense Non-Tactical Generator and Rail Equipment Center (DGRC) in Hill AFB Utah. Four jacks are required to lift the locomotive to gain access to the underside of the locomotive which is a central part of the refurbishment process performed by personnel at DGRC.

All additional details will be provided in the government’s solicitation. This acquisition is to be set aside for small businesses. North American Industry Classification System Code is 333923 and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided.

Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation.

CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued.
