QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Questions and Answers

Question 1: Are disposable pipette tips mandatory or are also other technologies accepted to minimize sample carryover?

Answer 1: In accordance with Performance Work Statement paragraph 5.1.2 and 5.2.12, “The system must utilize automated pipetting with disposable pipette tips, designed to eliminate sample carryover.”

Question 2: Does CCP mean an assay to detect Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibodies (CCP Antibody, Anti-

CCP)?

Answer 2: Yes, CCP means having an assay to assay to detect Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibodies (CCP Antibody, Anti-CCP). PWS paragraph 5.2.13.7., technical evaluation subfactor 1 in the Addendum to 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 were updated.

Question 3: Is it mandatory to have CCP (Anti-CCP) on the same analyzer as the other immunoassays or can it be analyzed on a separate system?

Answer 3: The PWS and Technical factors we request a single "system" not "system(s)". We do not have the space for multiple analyzers.

(End of Questions and Answers)
