QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Questions and Answers (Solicitation #W90VN9-23-R-0109, ITM of FAS at CFAC)
Q1. I don't see a schedule for Site Visit. Are you going to post Site Visit schedule later? Or, Do we just have to submit a proposal without a Site Visit?
A1. Site-visitt is scheduled for 1 AUG 2023 at 1:00PM Korean Standard Time.
The POC for site-survey coordination:
Mr. Kyo Tak Ku Electrical Engineer CFA Chinhae PSC 479 Box 520
FPO AP 96269
Email: kyotak.ku.ln@us.navy.mil
DSN: 315-763-8746
Vendors/Contractors SHALL contact the POC 48 hours before the scheduled site-survey for coordination.
Q2. I would like to find out if you have the same or equivalent ongoing contract. If so, please provide us with the contract number.
A2. W90VN9-18-P-0122
Q3. Can a sub-contractor, instead of the prime contractor, hold the Fire Protection Facilities Management Business
Registration (소방시설관리 유지업 등록증) issued by the Republic of Korea (ROK) to perform ITM of FAS?
A3. Per Para 1.6.8.1.1 of the project PWS (on page 5), " The Prime Contractor shall have a Fire Protection
Facilities Management Business Registration (소방시설관리 유지업 등록증) to perform ITM of FAS issued by Republic of Korea (ROK)" which is just under Para 1.6.8.1 "License Requirements". Licenses are required for those Engineering Supervisor and Fire Alarm Systems Technicians who are going to work as Sub-Contractors. I guess there some confusions between the "License and Registration" - See Para 1.6.8.1.2 and 1.6.8.1.3

52.237-1 SITE VISIT (APR 1984)
Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
