QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. What is Lube Coating? We are only familiar with PU (Poly Urethane), Latex (Natural Rubber), Nitrile (Also, Foam Nitrile or Sandy Nitrile) Coatings
Government Response:
The "lube coating" is a very thin coating of rubber that provides extra grip support.
2. Is the application for oil changes?
Government Response:
I think you are asking if we use this for oil changes. If so, the answer is no. These type of gloves are not used by the mechanics, as it would make it too slippery. The mechanics use the plain cotton gloves. The lube-coated gloves are generally used by our transportation and supply/material handlers.
3. Do the gloves have to be made in the USA?
Government Response:
It does not have to be made in the USA. Please refer to FAR Part 52.225-3, Free Trade Agreement Country. The product cannot be made in China.
