11. REQUIREMENT: N/A
PROJECT: Renovate Middle/South Bay at AMXS building 2852.
REQUIREMENT: This project is necessary to repair old and deteriorated AMXS building to support the TSP mission. This project is required to provide an adequate, safe and comfortable working environment for the assigned working personnel and follow-on forces. Unsuitable working environment will decrease the quality of work as well as the quality of life for the assigned working personnel as well as the customers visiting this facility.
CURRENT SITUATION: The existing AMXS facility, built in 1969, is old and deteriorated due to age and general wear and tear. Due to lack of maintenance and repair, the interior finishes of two bays are worn out and should be replaced with new ones. Old and deteriorated electrical, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing systems causes problems and it also looks unsightly for the assigned working personnel as well as the follow-on forces using this facility. Therefore total renovation is necessary to provide an adequate and functioning working environment as well as for the quality of life.
