QUESTION #2
What level of automation is the lab looking for in relation to price?
ANSWER #2
The long answer is it depends on the technical capability (batching vs. random access, no. of batches at once). If you need a metric, we are looking at needing enough automation to dedicate 0.25 FTE to the required annual testing listed below (See Answer #1). That allows us to work within our existing staffing constraints and bring on the testing. That cannot be achieved if each test must be batched and run separately requiring a technician to run back-to-back runs.
** The Statement of Work (Paragraph 5. SPECIFIC TASKS) lists the Salient Characteristics that will be used for the Technical Evaluation of all offers.
