About this file
This is Amendment 0004 to solicitation W58RGZ-26-B-0004, a Firm Fixed Price supply contract issued by Army Contracting Command-Redstone for the inspection and overhaul/upgrade of UH-60 Landing Gear Fixed components. The amendment addresses the definition of "Overhaul" by clarifying that for contract purposes, overhaul is considered "remanufacturing" and includes both major overhaul and major modification work. Major overhaul requires complete or substantial disassembly, rework and rehabilitation of substantially all parts, reassembly to restore original life expectancy, use of original manufacturing processes, and performance in contractor-owned facilities. Major modification applies to wholly or partially obsolete items requiring substantial disassembly with outmoded parts replacement, resulting in a substantially modified item in serviceable condition, also performed in contractor-owned facilities.
The contract covers two input parts (NSN 1620-01-231-1831 and 1620-01-622-7368) to be overhauled and returned as NSN 1620-01-622-7368. Planned quantities over five years include a minimum of 180 units annually for U.S. quantities and 0 to 45 FMS units annually, with an estimated maximum total of 1,080 units. Input delivery is 30 days after order receipt, with serviced assets returned to DODAAC W25G1U, Plant 7002. The amendment extends the proposal due date from 28 August 2026 to 30 October 2026 at 5:00 PM CST. Contractors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the extended deadline through specified methods. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
