About this file
This document is a Product Description detailing a prototype integration requirement for the U.S. Army's Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Aviation and Missile Center. The project involves developing a V250+ Dynamometer for Flexible Engine Diagnostics Systems (FEDS), specifically for Chinook T55-GA-714A engines. Base requirements include producing a forged rotor billet, inner housing assembly, lubrication cart prototype, and associated Non-Recurring Engineering tasks such as vendor sourcing, dimensional inspection programming, and assembly/rig test readiness reports.
The related federal contract opportunity (Solicitation W58RGZ-25-P-0013) is a pre-solicitation sources sought notice indicating intent to potentially sole source to Concepts, NREC as the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The government is conducting market research to determine if other capable sources exist, with potential set-asides for small businesses. Interested businesses must submit an unclassified capability statement by 09 May 2025, addressing their business status, ability to access proprietary data, and capacity to perform at least 50% of the work. The procurement will be for upgrading the Variable-Geometry, Radial Outflow Compressor (VAROC) Air Dynamometer 250 at the Prototype Integration Facility in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
