SUBJECT: VMware vSphere 6 Essentials Plus and VMware Horizon View
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-APG (ACC-APG) is requesting a Firm-Fixed-Price Quotation for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) VMware vSphere 6 Essentials Plus and VMware Horizon View. The VMware vSphere 6 Essentials Plus and VMware Horizon View is a software package which will prepare for sustainment of new software baselines. VMware vSphere 6 will test required software updates for various operating systems and create multiple test environments to reduce turnaround time by defaulting to the previous baseline, which will improve employee efficiency. VMware Horizon 7 Essentials will allow the testing and accreditation environment to match the systems supported at the field sites to obtain and test security patches. These requirements are being purchased for the Intelligence Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S) guardrail Common Sensors Systems (GRCS) and PROPHET Programs at SEC. This requirement will consist of one (1) base year of software support and maintenance. Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Operation and Maintenance, Army (OMA) funds will be used for this effort. The Government projects an award for January 2020. The services described below are for a one (1) year base period of performance starting on or about 01 February 2020. The NAICS Code applicable to this acquisition is 541519 – Information Technology Value Added Reseller. This acquisition will be funded with FY2020 Operations and Maintenance Funds Army (OMA) based on availability of funds. The solicitation number is W56JSR20Q0009 and quotations are due within 10 calendar days of this notification, no later than close of business at 16:00 (EDST) on 01/17/2020.

Respondent Instructions – Reponses should clearly indicate the following:
· All quotes should indicate the part numbers specified under the above Product Description, with itemized pricing for each part number specified. Any deviations from the Part Numbers specified will be explained in the Offerors response.
· Contractor CAGE Code, DUNS Number and business type / size.
· Published Commercial Price, if applicable.
· Any and all applicable discounts applied to the pricing.
· Quotes should separately identify any applicable costs associated with meeting the delivery instructions.
· PROVIDE A COPY OF END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT(s) OR SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE. If no agreement exists clearly state that in the provided quote.
This document is not a purchase order or contract or a promise to issue an award.
The government intends to award this action through a small business set-aside via an Army Purchase Order.
The government will not pay for any submitted information or the cost to submit these items.
The government reserves the right to issue an award in part or in whole for the items described above. The government is not obligated to make an award for all or any portion of the items described.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder. The evaluation will be based upon the base year and any awarded options. The offeror must also be responsive, and responsible.
Delivery Instructions:
The VMware vSphere 6 Essentials Plus and VMware Horizon View will be activated / delivered with inspection and acceptance at destination within 30 days of award to:

52.233-2 SERVICE OF PROTEST (SEP 2006)
(a) Protests, as defined in section 33.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, that are filed directly with an agency, and copies of any protests that are filed with the Government Accountability Office (GAO), shall be served on the Contracting Officer by obtaining written and dated acknowledgment of receipt.
(b) The copy of any protest shall be received in the office designated above within one day of filing a protest with the GAO.
